Dales Way footpath update.

Full update 20th May is now available to download on News.

The footpath within the YDNPA area is now back to normal.

Mint footbridge is still dangerous and closed. Signed diversion is in place.

Sprint road bridge is officially closed, but pedestrians are still crossing it at their own risk. We advise you to download from the Home page the recommended diversions via Gurnal Bridge in case the bridge is sealed during this penultimate stage of your journey without sufficient notice to inform you.

 

Chapel Beck bridge now back in place.

Yorkshire Dales National Park Rangers had a fun day out with a hired excavator, as  they cleared the rubble from under the isolated bridge, realigned it and pinned it down. The Dales Way footpath within the YDNP is now back to normal. The Dales Way Association appreciates their efforts and the continual flow of information keeping us informed so that we can pass it on to our walkers.
