Lloyds Bank volunteers give deposit a new meaning.
YDNPA Rangers assisted by Lloyds Banking Group volunteers have repaired 50 metres of a serious wet path in Haugh Wood, approximately half a mile south of Appletreewick. Future Dales Way walkers will see a big improvement when next they walk this way.
The bridge will be closed from the 14th September for approximately 10 days as Rangers from YDNPA carry out repairs to the lattice work and also repaint the bridge. An alternative route will be put in place which will take the public along Skuff road between Hebden and Burnsall. The road is quiet and has been used previously when the bridge has been closed. Notices will be posted to show the alternative route.
